Objet Insolite is a French company that has been creating bronze lighting and accessories since 1991.
Its founder, Augustin Granet, is a self-made designer with a passion for craftsmanship. When starting the company, Augustin set up his own production workshop that specializes in bronze work, in order to manufacture his designs.
In the Objet Insolite workshop, located in Normandy, the traditional art foundry techniques are combined with cutting-edge technology to allow a perfect control over each step of the manufacturing process.
Objet Insolite has been EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant or Living Heritage Company) certified. This label is a mark of recognition of the French state, put in place to reward French firms for the excellence of their traditional and industrial skills.
The hand that shapes the mold leaves an imprint the bronze will forever keep.
